BOWLING GREEN (AP) — Matt Johnson threw for 365 yards and four touchdowns, Travis Greene ran for a career-high three scores, and Bowling Green beat Ohio 62-24 on Wednesday night for the Falcons’ sixth straight victory.

Johnson leads the nation with 33 touchdown passes.

Gehrig Dieter had 136 yards receiving and two touchdowns, and Roger Lewis added 102 yards and one score for Bowling Green (7-2, 5-0 Mid-American). The Falcons are off to their best conference start since 2002.

It was tied at 14 until Bowling Green scored 27 straight. Johnson eluded pressure and found Ronnie Moore for a 48-yard catch-and-run touchdown. After a blocked punt, Dieter caught Johnson’s 10-yard pass for a 27-14 lead.

Dieter hauled in Johnson’s deep throw and raced for a 75-yard touchdown on Bowling Green’s first possession of the second half.

Derrius Vick had 136 total yards for Ohio (5-4, 2-3), but was injured early in the third and did not return.
