The annual Talent Auction of the Child Welfare Club will take place Thursday. The auction will be at the First Church of the Nazarene at Fourth and Pleasant streets in Ironton. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the auction will begin at noon. Light refreshments will be served.

The Talent Auction is an annual fundraising event for the club. Many baked goods and handmade items with a fall or Christmas theme will be available. Funds from this event are used to help support the club’s many projects throughout the year. The club promotes child welfare through its support of local education systems, churches, community projects, food banks and shelters.
