ATHENS (AP) — Kenny Kaminski scored a career-high 31 points and Ohio crushed Division II-member Ohio Dominican 93-69 on Tuesday night.
Kaminski was 9 of 14 from the floor and 8 of 11 from beyond the arc. Antonio Campbell scored 18 points with 11 rebounds. Jordan Dartis had 15 points and Jaaron Simmons added 10 points and 10 assists. Ohio shot nearly 53 percent and went 11 of 21 on 3-point attempts. The Bobcats outrebounded the Panthers 38-24.
Ohio Dominican was led by Trent Weaver and Michael Simon with 18 points apiece.
The Panthers led 13-11 on Weaver’s 3-pointer — but never again. Kaminski answered with a trey, which started an 11-point run and Ohio led 40-32 at the break.
A 10-2 run early in the second — capped by a Kaminski 3-pointer — pushed the Ohio lead to 17 and the Bobcats cruised from there.
