Gaynelle Gibson

Gaynelle Gibson, 73, of South Point, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at her residence. She was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Jenkins, Kentucky, a daughter of the late George Lewis Ratliff and Cora L. Hall Ratliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bobbi Humphreys and Myrtle Chapman; and three brothers, Willis Ratliff, Lewis Ratliff and James Ratliff. Gaynelle was the owner of the Food Basket in South Point. Survivors include two sons, Jerry A. (Carolyn L.) Gibson, Jr. and Mark Edward (Elisa Jane) Gibson; two sisters, Madonna Jackson and Billie Mullins; a brother, Glen Wallace Ratliff; four grandchildren, Aaron Nathaniel Gibson, Andrew Jeremiah Gibson, Megan Ciara Gibson and Dustin Lee Gibson; and two great grandchildren, Shade Douglas Gibson and Maverick Edward Gibson.
