Glenn Holmes

Glenn Robert (Bob) Holmes, 82, passed away at his home on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Freda Rose Waginger Holmes, whom he married on May 22, 1954, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ironton. He is also survived by a sister, Joann Cruseturner of Somerville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Mom), Ada Belle Holmes; and four sisters, Lena, Thelma, Christine and Iris. He is the father of eight children, Barbara Rose Holmes, Cynthia Kay Holmes (deceased), Mary Ann (Hal) Newhouser, Glenn Robert Holmes, Jr. (deceased), John Michael (Connie) Hohnes, James Andrew Holmes, Iris Kristina (Bill) Kimbley and Patrick Joseph (Missy) Holmes. He has 10 grandchildren, 11 living great-grandchildren and one deceased, and three great-great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be at O’Keefe- Baker Funeral Home from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday with the Rosary being said at noon. Following will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Huffman officiating. The burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Terry Fuller, 62, of Crown City, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
