Tolsia edges Chesy girls

CHESAPEAKE — Two was enough.
The Tolsia Lady Rebels used their guard tandem to beat the Chesapeake Lady Panthers 57-52 on Saturday.
Sophomore Mariah Finley had 18 points and freshman Dena Jarrells scored 15 points to lead Tolsia (7-5).
Kaylee Curry scored 16 points and Bailey Mills had 12 points to pace the Lady Panthers (11-3).
Tolsia led 16-14 at the end of the first quarter and pulled away to a 33-23 halftime lead.
Chesapeake cut the deficit to 40-32 after three quarters and continued to rally in the fourth quarter before Tolsia was able to hold on for the win.
Chesapeake visits Rock Hill on Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
