Patricia Hopkins

June 16, 1928 — Jan. 20, 2016

 

Patricia June Hopkins, born June 16, 1928, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Born in Ironton, she was the daughter of Blanche (Mohr) and Homer D. Fuller. Pat graduated from Ironton High School in 1946, and from Marenello Beauty College in Cincinnati. She worked 13 years as a beautician before retiring to be a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Resurrection Hope United Methodist Church.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Neale Hopkins; both brothers, Louis Clarence Fuller and Homer D. (Don) Fuller, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Frances Hopkins Willis and Peggy Cooke Fuller; and brother-in-law, Vincel Willis.

Pat is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Ruthie Hopkins; grandchildren, Levi Neale, Glenda June and Ivie Ruth Hopkins; niece, Sherida (Joe) Dougherty; nephews, Mark (Jackie) and John (Jennifer) Willis; and great-nephews Cole, Clay, Chase and Carson Willis and Heath and Morgan Battrell.

Services have been postponed due to weather.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Resurrection Hope United Methodist Church, St. Joseph Central Catholic High School or First United Methodist Food Pantry.

 

 

Larry Shortridge

Larry Ray Shortridge, 70, of Proctorville, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at home. He is survived by his wife, Marti Shortridge. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
