According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the snow emergency level has been reduced from a Level 2 to a Level 1 this morning.

“Most main roads are clear. The secondary roads are still slick in spots and the third tier roads still have snow on them for now. The road crew workers have worked hard and have done a god job,” Lawless said in a statement online. “The air temperature is above freezing but the surface temperature is still freezing. It is going to rain and the rain could freeze at first and make the roads dangerous. Continue to drive with caution.”
