Linda Myers

Jan. 1, 1943 — April 3, 2016

Linda Kay Myers, age 73, of Greenville, passed away, Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Village Green in Greenville.

She was born Friday, Jan. 1, 1943, in Ironton, a daughter of the late Rev. Frank and Mildred (Spence) Malone.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Malone.

Linda loved playing poker with her friends and family, listening to country music and spending time with her grandkids. She had a generous and kind soul and would often go out of her way to help someone in need. Linda was a member of the Eagles and held a state office, She was once a member of the Troy Country Music Association.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Myers, of 21 years, whom she married Dec. 24, 1994; a daughter, Kimberly Miller, of Ansonia; two grandchildren, Joe (Ashely) Miller, Jr., of Arcanum, and Krystal K. (John) Stewart, of Ansonia; two great grandchildren, Emmett and Abner Miller, of Arcanum; and three sisters, Cecelia (Ed) Slaughter, of Ironton, Rose Mary (Earl) Roach, of Casstown and Marjorie (Ed) Brammer, of South Point.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with chaplain Candy Null officiating. Burial will follow at a later day. Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Saturday.

 

Lora Ferguson

Lora Anne Michelle Ferguson, infant daughter of Joshua Dale Ferguson and Jessica Michelle Howerton, of Proctorville, died Tuesday April 5, 2016, at Columbus Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus. Funeral service will be conducted noon Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. James Swann

James Albert Swann, 88, of Chesapeake, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley. Funeral liturgy will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Chesapeake by Father Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will follow at a later date at Spring Hill Cemetery. David Naugle

David K. Naugle, 51, of South Point, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at home. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

 

Sue Knipp

Sue A. Knipp, 78, of Wheelersburg, formerly of Pedro, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Arrangements are pending at Brown Funeral Chapel.
