Exhibit of floral watercolors on display at Briggs Library

“Peony,” a watercolor piece by Clarice Kumlien, on display at the Ironton Briggs Library.
The latest art exhibit at the Ironton Branch of the Briggs Lawrence County Library features the floral works of Clarice Kumlien.
The 88-year-old artist started painting as a child and joined the Ironton Artists Association 20 years ago after winning an award at its annual fall show.
Kumlien is a retired registered nurse and focuses primarily on watercolors of flowers, still lifes and landscapes.
The show will be on display through June 18.
