2 crashes reported in South Point
SOUTH POINT — Several vehicles were involved in two crashes Wednesday night on Sandusky Road in South Point.
According to Sgt. Nick Lunsford with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a green vehicle ran a red light at Sandusky Road near U.S. Route 52 at about 10:30 p.m., struck another vehicle, then fled the scene. No injuries were reported from the crash.
Lunsford said a second crash took place shortly after, as traffic was backed up and one vehicle rear ended another. Two were transported to the hospital.
