Unbeaten Waverly blanks Fairland

WAVERLY — The Waverly Tigers don’t like to give up points.

Waverly posted its third shutout of the season with a 50-0 win over the Fairland Dragons on Friday.

Waverly had 378 total yards while Fairland could manage just 60 yards of offense.

Drew Harris ran 15 times for 104 yards and three touchdowns to lead Waverly (4-0. Drew Kritzwiser ahd 54 yards on 10 tries.

Clayton Howell was 12-of-16 passing for 191 yards and two TDs. Cade Marques caught four pass for 122 yards and two scores while Kayne Jordan had four grabs for 38 yards.

Fairland (0-4) was led by Chase Fisher who had 49 yards rushing.

Fairland visits Rock Hill next Friday for an Ohio Valley Conference game.
