PINE GROVE — The one thing the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association has is competitive balance.
The Ironton Country Club golfing group met for its Tuesday outing last week and five different golfers won the six events.
Hostess Betty Fraley served the breakfast treats and announced the day’s golfing events. She then announced the winners at the weekly luncheon.
Pat Riggs led the balanced golfing group with two wins. Winning single events were Rose Auble, Margaret Donley and Pat Lambert.
The annual yearly awards will be presented on Tuesday, Oct. 4, following the day’s nine holes of golf.
Members will bring guests for their awards dinner.
This week’s hosts will be Pat Lambert. A brief business meeting will be held at 9 a.m. followed by golf at 9:30. Lunch will be served following golf with the daily events awards announced.
New members are always welcomed.
