PROCTORVILLE — The Proctorville Youth Police Academy will host their second meeting on Saturday.

Sgt. Randy Thompson said the group will meet a 5 p.m. at The Crossing Baptist Church, located at 6262 County Rd 107.

Thompson said the meeting will be Halloween-themed and will present the cadets with education, a community challenge and a physical training activity.

He said the group is open to youth in grades 1-12 from any location, in Lawrence County and beyond, and is free of charge. Those who missed the first meeting can still sign-up to join, he said.
