Keith Brammer
Nov. 4, 1969 — Nov. 22, 2016
Keith F. Brammer, 47, of South Point, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at UK Albert Chandler Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky. He was born Nov. 4, 1969, in Ironton, a son of Leola Kay Arbaugh Brammer and the Rev. Gene Brammer, both of Greenup, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie Jane Brammer; and his grandparents. Keith was a Customer Service Rep at Walmart and a member of Solida Missionary Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He was also a committee member of Gallia County NWTF and Wheelin’ Sportsmen of NWTF, a member of South Point Masonic Lodge #497, a member of South Point Order of Eastern Star #404 and a board member of Lawrence County I.O.R.G.
Additional survivors include his wife, LizBeth Brock Brammer; two children, Hannah Grace (Koty Meade) Brammer, of South Point, and Wyatt Franklin Brammer, of South Point; a sister, Lisa (Mel) McDaniels, of Greenup, Kentucky; a brother, Michael (Deborah) Brammer, of Columbus; his grandchildren, Gunner James Keith Meade; and a very special friend that was like a brother, Mike Wilds.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday at Solida Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor Aaron Childers and Brian Hayton officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery Burlington. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday at the church before the service. Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, is assisting the family with arrangements. Lila French
Jan. 1, 1932 — Nov. 20, 2016
Lila Carey French, of Coal Grove, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016. The Ironton native was born Jan. 1, 1932, a daughter of the late Ruth Savary Barber and Floyd Vallance.
Mrs. French attended Ironton High School and lived her entire life in the Lawrence County area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coal Grove Church of the Nazarene, where she was a Sunday School Secretary for over 40 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Carey; her second husband, Walter French; and three brothers, Don Griffin, Floyd “Bus” Vallance and Robert Vallance.
She is survived by her children, Fred L. Carey, of Hudson, Florida, Debbie (Larry) Stumbo, of Shallotte, North Carolina, and Candace Carey, of Ironton; grandchildren, Larry (Stephanie) Stumbo, of Coal Grove, Jarod Patterson, of Ironton, Dalton (Nikie) Carey, of Ironton, Rob (Angie) Stumbo, of Oak Island, North Carolina, and Sarah (Mike) Morman, of Portsmouth; great-grandchildren, Briana Stumbo, Larry Douglas Stumbo III and Hobie Morman; and a sister, Nelle Rose Hern, of Ironton.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. John Nunley and the Rev. John Euton officiating. Burial will follow in Zoar Cemetery.
