Route 243 fire under investigation

GETAWAY — The Ohio State Fire Marshals office is investigating a fire which took place Tuesday night on State Route 243 near Collins Career Center.
According to Kelly Stiner, a public information officer for the marshals office, the blaze, which began at about 7 p.m., totally destroyed a home which being used to store bales of hay.
Stiner said witnesses saw someone run away from the home and get into a silver car. The fire is a suspected arson.
An additional fire was reported during the night on County Road 6, but Stiner said the marshals office is not investigating that case at this time.
