Funds to help boy with treatment for conditions

PROCTORVILLE — A spaghetti dinner is planned for March 11 to help pay for medical costs for a Lawrence County boy.
Waylon, 4, is battling cerebral palsy, epilepsy, infantile spasm and other conditions. As a result of his state, he is unable to hold up his own head.
The Teresa Chapter #257 Order of the Eastern Star will host the dinner to raise funds for Waylon to go to California to the Napa Center, where he will learn full head control.
The Waylon’s Warriors dinner is set for 4-7 p.m. at the Proctorville Masonic Lodge, located at 340 Front Street. Cost is $10 per person for spaghetti, salad, rolls, a drink and dessert.
