Danger of eliminating ARC funds is real

The editorial board is right to highlight the dangers of eliminating the Appalachian Regional Commission (“Keep ARC in budget,” 3/24/17).

I will fight like hell to keep this program — we can’t break our promise to the Appalachian families who rely on the ARC.
