Doretta Malone

May 18, 1940 — March 27, 2017

Doretta “Katy” Malone, 76 of Marengo, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 27, 2017, peacefully with her daughter, Cynthia, and grandson, Shayne, by her side. She was born on May 18, 1940, in Ironton, the daughter of the late Lindsey and Evelyn (Antis) Sharp.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Chester “Chet” Malone; son, Chet Malone; sisters, Gloria “Goo” Gullet and Mary Sharp; brothers, Ronald, James, Jerry and Timothy Sharp; and brother-in- law, Bill Farmer.
She will be missed by her daughter, Cynthia L. Russell, and her husband, Charles C., of Sunbury; grandson, Shayne Russell, of Ashville, North Carolina; son, Todd Malone, and his wife, Becky; and grandson, Takota, of Athens; sister, Christine Farmer, of Delaware, Ohio; brother, Lindsey Sharp, of Ironton; and grandsons, Bradley and Tommy Malone; daughter-in- law, Jessica Sadilek, and her husband, Jeremy, of Gahanna; and many nieces, nephews and many great friends.
Private family services will be observed at a later date. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Morrow County Hospice for their loving care. Robert Bradley Williams

Robert Bradley Williams (Speck), 36, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Mobile, Alabama. The Ironton native was born Dec. 17, 1980, and was a 2000 graduate of Ironton High School.
He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and his dog, Bella. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and four-wheeling. He worked for Scott’s Electric, out of Birmingham, Alabama.
He is survived by his parents, Lori Williams and Mark Speck, of Ironton; three aunts, Linda Rosebrough, Paula Thomas and Cyntia Bright, all of Ironton; two uncles, Robert L. Williams III and Cecil Speck, of Ironton; cousins, Jessica Williams, Nikki Speck Barrow, and Scott and Tyler Speck, all of Ironton, and Rob Williams, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a few special friends, Kristin Black, Sarah Heighton and Olivia Jones Thompson.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Resurrection Hope United Methodist Church, Ironton, with Terry Jones officiating.

Lucille Montgomery

Lucille Eloise Dornon Montgomery, 94, of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Gallipolis,died Friday, March 24, 2017, in Gainesville.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, with pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. Gary Sexton

Gary Jack Sexton, 83, of Lancaster, died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at home. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sexton.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. There will be no visitation. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.
