Ironton City Council to discuss budget, salary

It’s all about the money at the Ironton City Council meeting tonight.
On the agenda is an amendment to the budget, setting the finance director’s salary and paying for work on the water filtration plant.
The first item on the agenda is amending the city budget.
The second item on the agenda is the salary being set is for the finance director. It will be $58,652.07 for 2017.
The third item on the agenda is for the city to pay Ackerman Construction $37,500 for roof repair to the municipal water filtration plant.
The final item on the agenda is to allow SBA Communications to sublease space on a cell tower to T-Mobile. Per its lease contract, SBA has to inform the city of any changes to the tower.
The Ironton City Council meets at 6 p.m. in council chambers on the third floor of the Ironton City Center.
