Jane Brooks

March 30, 1949 — April 27, 2017

Jane (Brock) Brooks, 68, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. She was born in Lawrence County on March 30, 1949, to the late George and Virginia (Browning) Brock.
Jane was self-employed and a homemaker, and she was member of the City Mission Church in Ironton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan (Brock) Sisler.
Jane is survived by a son, John (Shelly) Brooks, of Pedro; and a daughter, Melissa (James) Brooks, of Ironton. She is also, survived by three grandsons, John (Angela) Brooks, Jr.,  of Kitts Hill, Tanner (Megan) Brooks, of Pedro, and Sean (Christina) James, of Ironton; three great-grandchildren, Kylee, Laylah Brooks and Halie James. She is also survived by a brother, Tommy Brock, of California; and a sister, Mary (Clyde) Williams, of South Point.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Jeff Cremeans officiating. Interment will follow in Hanging Rock Cemetery, Hanging Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Richard Wayne Young, Jr., 33, of Chesapeake, died Friday, April 28, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer.

Juanita White Dillow 86, of Raceland, Kentucky, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky, with the Rev. Charles Wayne Blevins officiating.
