Red Cross Blood Drive set for Friday at CCTC in Coal Grove

COAL GROVE — A blood drive, by the American Red Cross, is set for the Collins Career Technical Center Adult Program campus in Coal Grove.
The drive, scheduled for 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Friday, is being conducted with the nursing program at the school, Cassandra Falls, director of nursing for CCTC, said.
“The Red Cross will set up the tables in the classrooms and will be taking blood,” she said. “Our nursing students will do the administration and registration, and taking care of people after they’ve donated.”
She said walk-ins are welcome, or people can call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit www.redcrossblood and enter “collinscoalgrove” to schedule an appointment.
