Fair events continue today

ROME TOWNHIP — The Lawrence County Fair is in full swing and several events are planned for today.
In addition to the rides, which open at 4 p.m., the 4-H & FFA Goat Showmanship presentation is planned for 10 a.m., while the Cloverbud Rodeo is set for 2 p.m. at the livestock arena.
The 4-H Style Show and nutrition awards will take place at the 4-H shelter at 4 p.m. and the market hog show is set for 6 p.m.
Monster truck racing is planned at the grandstand at 7 p.m., with a pre-show meet and greet set for 7 p.m.
The fair runs through Saturday with a daily admission of $10. Parking is $5 per car and rides are free with paid admission.
