Allison Rose
Nov. 5, 1985 — July 6, 2017
Allison Payne Rose, 31, of Oregonia, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her home. The Ironton native was born Nov. 5, 1985, the daughter of James A. and Julie Roberts Payne, of Ironton. She is also survived by her husband, Andrew Jordan “AJ” Rose, who she married on June 20, 2009.
Ali feverously battled chronic kidney disease since birth without a complaint, but always kept a smile on her face. Ali was a caring and loving Christian, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, farm girl and comedian.
To know Ali was to know happiness and to be filled with an immeasurable light and joy in your life. Ali was a selfless, down to earth, beautiful young woman who lived her life to the fullest and loved unconditionally. Ali’s mission was to bring laughter, positivity, strength and inspiration to everyone she encountered. She was a proud organ donor and advocated for others to join her in giving the opportunity to have a full and happy life, as she lived. Proudly, even in death, she was able to give the gift of life through organ donation.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert L. Roberts; and her grandparents-in-law, Russell Rose and Albert and Eileen Ringrose.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sister, Laura (Mark Jr.) Hanley; along with their children, Miles and Breccan; sister-in-law, Megan (Wes) Scott and their children Javid, Jayce, and Haylen along with her additional sister-in-law, Lora Rose; father-in-law, Homer (Michele) Rose; and mother-in-law, Susie (David) Preston; maternal grandparents, Frances and Britton Barlow; paternal grandparents, Dr. Burton and Leona Payne; and grandmother-in-law, Lora Rose. Lest we forget to mention the countless family members, friends and loved ones who came to know and love this precious angel.
