William Abrams

Nov. 7, 1955 — Aug. 5, 2017

William Edward Abrams, 61, of Coal Grove, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Crystal Care Nursing Center in Franklin Furnace. The Ironton native was born Nov. 7, 1955, a son of the late Ferdia and Mabel Brown Abrams.
William attended Ironton High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He received his degree in welding.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Arlene Harris.
He is survived by an uncle, Earnest (Mary Jane) Brown, of Sioux City, South Dakota; his siblings, Debra (Danny) Conley, Belinda (James) Harris and Donald Prince, all of Coal Grove, James (Mary) Prince, of Champaigne, Illinois, Linda Prince, of College Station, Texas, and David (Ashley) Abrams, of Coal Grove; his brother-in-law, Earl Keith Harris, of Coal Grove; a friend, Michael Cremeans, of Ironton; and several nieces and nephews who are very special to him.
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Jared Timberlake officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery and visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home. Misty Browning

Misty Browning, 57, of Franklin Furnace, formerly of Ironton, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at Crystal Care Nursing Home, Franklin Furnace. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Browning. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Franklin Furnace IBC Church, Franklin Furnace.
