PROCTORVILLE — A pancake breakfast fundraiser is set for Saturday to help benefit a Lawrence County woman who is battling cancer.

Erma Garland is fighting stage 4 cancer and has had multiple surgeries. Organizers of the event say she has had to make several trips to Columbus each month for treatment and this has put the family under financial strain.

The event will take place from 8-11 a.m. at Proctorville #550 Masonic Lodge, located at 340 Front St.

Donations will be accepted at the door upon entry.
