First United Methodist Church in Ironton, located at 101 N. Fifth St., is having a Candy-Making Class with Mary Lou, just in time for the holidays.

The classes are set to begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 and will run once a week for three weeks.

Classes are open to the public and people are encouraged to invite their friends.

Participants may register by Oct. 6 by calling the church office at 740-532-1196. Classes are free, but there will be a fee for supplies.
