Tina Carman

Aug. 13, 1964 — Nov. 3, 2017

Tina Louise Delong Carman, 53, of Ironton, gained her wings to heaven on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, leaving from the Crystal Care Center in Coal Grove, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Tina was born Aug. 13, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, a daughter of Judith Ann Pancake Delong, of Kitts Hill, and the late Richard Oliver Anders.
Over her life, she held several occupations as a Factory Worker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many who knew her.
She was preceded in death by the dad who raised her, Bob Delong Jr.; and nephew, Andrew Christopher Massie.
In addition to her mom, she is survived by her son, Jeremy Douglas Logsdon; two sisters, Jacquelyn Delong Bond and Melissa Delong Bateman; a brother, Robert William Delong; two grandchildren, Cayee Logsdon and Jaxson Logsdon; and a host of family and friends.
Keeping with her families wishes, she has been cremated, and a memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Ironton Elks 416, Park Avenue, Ironton. Family and friends who would like to come by and share a fond memory are welcome. Memorial donations in her memory should be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor. Jessie Delong

Jessie F. Delong, 92, of Kitts Hill, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton Campus. The Kitts Hill native was born July 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles Reed and Ora Clark Reed.
Mrs. Delong attended the Kitts Hill Schools and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Bald Knob United Brethren Church, where she served as treasurer for 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Glenna Holder and Ruth Ealley; two grandchildren, Jeffers Allen Cade and Connie Sue Cade; sister, Thelma Riggs; and two brothers, Howard Reed and Emmitt Reed.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon (Rod) Dillon, of Ironton; son, Isaac (Patty) Delong, of Ossineke, Michigan; and son, Charles Delong, of Kitts Hill.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor James Kearns officiating. Burial will follow in Bald Knob Cemetery. Barbara Kimbler

Feb. 2, 1933 — Nov. 11, 2017

Barbara Ann Kimbler, 84, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at her residence. Barbara was born Feb. 2, 1933, in Ironton to the late Fred and Margaret Riley Breece. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Jack Kimbler, whom she married Oct. 10, 1958; a daughter, Karen Lynn Kimbler; a son, Jackie Edward Kimbler; and two sisters, Norma Jean Kimbler and Charlotte Kaiser.
She is survived by one brother, Richard Breece; and a niece, Cathy Gallion.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, Wheelersburg. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Linda Jennings

Linda Carol Howell Combs Jennings, 62, of Hanging Rock, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Hanging Rock Cemetery. Dorothy Irene White, 80, of Chillicothe, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Mr. Carmel West, Columbus. A graveside service will be noon Wednesday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Burial will follow. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, West Virginia.
