Liberty Federal Bancorp
The annual meeting of the members of Liberty Federal Bancorp, MHC will be held at the main office of Liberty Bank, located at 314 Park Ave., Ironton, at noon. The only matter to be considered at the annual meeting is the election of David McCown and Gregory Walbright as directors of Liberty Federal Bancorp, MHC, each to serve for a term of three years or until his successor is elected and qualified. Any action may be taken on the foregoing proposal at the annual meeting or on any date or dates to which the meeting may be adjourned.

The Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at noon at the Giovanni’s in Chesapeake.

The Lawrence County Insurance COG will have its regular monthly meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Lawrence County Educational Service Center office.
Lawrence County Transportation Improvement District
The Lawrence County Transportation Improvement District will have its regular meeting at 8:30 am in the Lawrence County Auditor’s Conference Room. Specific items for discussion are projects and election of officers.
Rock Hill BOE
The Rock Hill Board of Education will have its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the board offices. The regular meetings will continue to be on the third Thursday of each month for the 2018 calendar year.
Lawrence County Educational Service Center Governing Board
The Lawrence County Educational Service Center Governing Board will meet in special session at 1 p.m. at the ESC office, 304 N. Second St., Ironton, for the purpose of appointing a representative to the Collins Career Technical Center Board, considering approval of letters of arrangements and an executive session to conference with the board’s legal counsel concerning disputes involving the board that are subject of pending court action.

This event usually take place at First Baptist Church in Proctorville, but will be held at the center’s Chesapeake location this month, due to weather. Entertainment begins at 10:45 a.m., followed by food served before noon.
