Donald Harrah Jr.

Donald T. Harrah Jr., 76, of South Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018. He was the husband of Marian E. Grant Harrah and son of the late Mary and Thurlow Harrah.
Preceding him in death was a twin son, Ashley Mathew Harrah.
He is survived by daughters, Pamela Bartrum, of Ashland, Kentucky, and Angela McClure, of South Point; one son, Todd A. Harrah (Aimee), of South Point; a stepdaughter, Jan Bess, of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren, Jason and Ashley Workman, Christina Webb, Samantha Barker, Stephen and Drake McClure, Makenzi, Baylie and Ava Harrah, and Paige Clifton; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law; and six sisters-in-law.
Don was a graduate of Alderson High School and attended Marshall University, where he played football and majored in engineering. He worked in the engineering field and was an estimator for Bill Enyart and Sons for a number of years before retiring. He was a member of Tri-State Baptist Temple.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with pastor Tim Jenkins and pastor Larry Mullens officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Friends may visit from 1-2 p.m. before the service on Friday at the funeral home. Renea Blankenship

Renea Blankenship, 49, of Chesapeake, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. She is survived by her huband, Jim Damron. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will be in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Johnnie Aubill

Johnnie Lynn Aubill, 63, of Ashland, Kentucky, formerly of Coloma, Michigan, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Advance Memorial United Methodist Church, Flatwoods, Kentucky, with pastor Sean Shroll officiating. Connie S. Black, 65, of Ironton, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. There will be a memorial service at the convenience of the family at a later date.
