The Ironton High School class of 1948 will meet for lunch at noon at Frisch’s Big Boy in Ironton. All class members and guests are invited.
South Point BOE Special Meeting
The South Point Board of Education will meet in special session at 6 p.m. in the South Point Board of Education office. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a work session and to accept a supplemental resignation.
Blood Drive
American Red Cross and the Ironton Fire Department are hosting a blood drive from 1-6:30 p.m. in the IFD training room. Please bring a photo ID or blood donor card if you have one.

Candidate Visit
Melissa Ackison, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in 2018, will make a stop at 6 p.m. at Big Boy in Ironton to host a town hall with voters.
Hanging Rock Village Council
Hanging Rock Village Council will have its regular meeting at 8 a.m. at the Hanging Rock Municipal Building. The public is invited to attend.
Coat Giveaway
Zoar Baptist Church will be giving away coats from 9 a.m.-noon. The church is located across from Food Fair in Coal Grove.
Community Bingo
People for the Point will have a community family bingo night at 6:30 p.m. at the South Point Community Center. A $10 donation gets a card pack. Prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds go to future Community Center improvements and future People for the Point projects.

Chesapeake’s village council will met at 7 p.m. at village hall.
Ironton BOE Special Meeting
Ironton City Schools Board will have a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the administration office for Ohio School Board Association presentation about doing a superintendent search.

South Point Village Council
South Point’s village council will met at 7:30 p.m. at village hall.
Lawrence County York Rite
Lawrence County York Rite will have its regular meeting at the Masonic Temple on the fourth floor. Refreshments are at 6 p.m. Work will be at 7 p.m.

PERI Chapter 62 Meeting
PERI Chapter 62 will host its scheduled meeting at 11 a.m. on the second floor of the Briggs Lawrence Public Library in Ironton.
