HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marshall has announced it has signed 24 football recruits, including a graduate transfer quarterback from FCS Wagner College.
The Thundering Herd announced the signings Wednesday, including several from the December early signing period.
Alex Thomson, a 6-foot-5 transfer, plans to graduate this spring from Wagner, where he threw for 2,436 yards and 16 touchdowns with five interceptions in 2016. He missed most of last season with a shoulder injury.
Marshall is looking to replace Chase Litton, who announced last month he is skipping his senior season and entering the NFL draft this spring.
