Clyde Webb

Dec. 21, 1929 — Feb. 12, 2018

Clyde Joseph Webb, 88, of Deering (Lawrence County native), passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Harbor Healthcare, Ironton. He was born Dec. 21, 1929, in Lawrence County, a son of the late Simeon Webb and Hazel Fetters Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Travis, Louise Webb, Jane Miller and Ruth Ball; and three brothers, Thomas Webb, Harrison Webb and Ralph Webb.
Clyde was a longtime member of Community Missionary Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, retired from Dayton Malleable Iron Company after 31 years, and past fire chief for the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Townsend Webb, whom he married on July 16, 1954.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry Joseph and Jean Webb, of Ironton; a daughter, Cheryl Annette Davis, of Ironton; a sister, Mary Delawder, of Ironton; three grandchildren, David Joe (Carolyn) Mollett, Aaron Lee (Teresa) Mollett, and Amy Lynn (Shawn) Ball; a step-granddaughter, Rebecca Rodman; six great-grandchildren, Kylee and Cody Mollett, Zarah Mollett, Derrek and Dylan Sesher, and Garrett Ball; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with brother Brad Hitchcock and brother Mark Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery, Ironton. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.

Wayne Primm

Wayne Primm, 62, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at his residence. The Lawrence County native was born Dec. 3, 1955, a son of Juanita Wheeler, of Ironton.
Wayne was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed truck driver.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Denver Kaiser and Danny Primm.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Christopher Primm, Brandon Primm and Brian Primm, all of South Point; three sisters, Jennie Kinstler, Mary Clifton and Linda Kaiser, all of Ironton; and four grandchildren, Alexia Primm, Madi Smith, Silas Primm and Krista Primm.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with Josh Clifton officiating. Visitation will be noon until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

William Carter Jr.

William Carter Jr., 93, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Carter.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Huntington, West Virginia, with pastor Donte Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, West Virginia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Cleo H. Hughes, 86, of Proctorville, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at CAMC, Charleston, West Virginia.
