GOODYEAR, AZ — The Cincinnati Reds have reduced their Major League camp to 54 players after eight roster moves on Friday.
The Reds disabled right-handed pitcher Rookie Davis and optioned seven players to Class AAA Louisville that included RHP Ariel Hernandez, RHP Jose Lopez, RHP Keury Mella, RHP Jesus Reyes, infielder Shed Long, and outfielders Aristides Aquino and Jose Siri.
Non-roster right-handed pitcher Jose Rafael De Paula was reassigned to minor league camp.
