Wyngate seeks vendors for events

Brunch with Easter Bunny, Farmers Market open to public

ROME TOWNSHIP — The Wyngate at RiversEdge has scheduled two community events for the coming months.

A Brunch with the Easter Bunny is set for Good Friday, March 30 at the senior living community, located at 7694 County Rd. 107.

Activities director Julie Poff said there will be an Easter egg hunt, brunch and photos with the Easter Bunny and a petting zoo with baby ducks and chicks.

The event is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Next month the Wyngate will host its third annual farmers market and craft sale from 10 a.m-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21..

Poff said there is no cost to set up a booth and a free lunch will be provided to vendors. Those interested in registering to vend can call her at 740-867-2500.

She said students from Collins Career Technical Center’s agri-science program will also be on hand.

“They’ll be selling plant, herbs and all the things they grow,” she said.

Both events are free and open to the public.
