Heidi Taylor

May 5, 1978 — April 5, 2018

Heidi Annette Taylor, 39, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky, after succumbing to cancer.
Heidi was born May 5, 1978, in Portsmouth to Michael and Rebeckah Maggard Cline. Heidi was employed as an occupational therapist at King’s Daughters Kingsbrook Life Care Center. She attended Morris Street Tabernacle in Ashland, Kentucky.
Heidi was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Maggard; and grandmothers, Deloris Cline and Dianna Taylor.
Heidi is survived by her husband, Greg Taylor, whom she married April 5, 2003, in Franklin Furnace. Also surviving are a son, Benjamin Gregory Taylor; a sister, Jillian Elaine Barber; and grandparents, Joyce Maggard and Delano and Elizabeth Cline.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Plymouth Heights Nazarene Church with pastor Don Pancake and pastor Gary Chaffin officiating. Interment will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, Wheelersburg, and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Kimberly Sue Hill, 58, of Ironton, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at home. She was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Lawrence County, a daughter of Rosemary Brown Hankins and the late Bill C. Hankins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Aubree Erin Hill.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Robert F. Hill; three children, Aaron (Clandra) Hill, of Rush, Kentucky, Jettie (Bill) Short, of Kitts Hill, and Andrew (Amanda) Hill, of Franklin Furnace; one sister, Rhoda (Dewey) Sheppard, of Hanging Rock; two brothers, Mike (Sally) Hankins, of Pedro, and Randy Hankins, of Hanging Rock; eight grandchildren, Ethan Short, Brianna Short, Nathan Hill, Logan Short, Molley Short, Cole Hill, Gavin Short and Avarie Hill; and a special thank you to special friend, Angie Crank.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Fred Wiles officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.

Coy Ashley

Coy B. Ashley, 77, of South Point, died Monday, April 4, 2018, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Leona C. Gee Ashley.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, with pastor Jerry Galloway officiating. Friends may visit from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.

Mr. Wu

Mr. Wu, 62, of Proctorville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.
