Lady Dragons rally past SP

PROCTORVILLE — The Fairland Lady Dragons weren’t about to quit.
Trailing 7-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Lady Dragons scored six times to beat the South Point Lady Pointers 9-7 in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Wednesday.
Alexis Alexander was 2-4 with a double to lead Fairland (1-4). Adrianna Hoffman and Emily Bowen each had a double while Libby Judge had a double and two runs batted in.
Jill Alysworth and Reece Duncan went 2-4 for South Point.
Fairland visits Ironton on Monday. South Point hosts Huntington, W.Va., on Thursday.
