COLUMBUS — Friends of Sherrod Brown has recently launched “Seniors for Sherrod,” highlighting the senator’s work on behalf of Ohio’s seniors.

In a news release, the group touted Brown’s efforts to defend Medicare and Medicaid from cuts and bring down prescription drug prices and convening a bipartisan committee to protect the pensions of more than 60,000 Ohioans and 1.5 million workers and retirees across the country.

Brown, a Democrat seeking a third term in the U.S. Senate, has earned the endorsement of the Ohio Alliance for Retired Americans, AFSCME Retirees, CWA Retirees, Ohio IUE Retirees, UAW Region 2B Retirees and USW Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees.
