Jonathon Bailey

Jonathon Ray Bailey, 32, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Russell, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born June 16, 1985, a son to John William Bailey, of Marion, and Rebecca (Hackworth) Bailey, of Pedro. Jonathon is also survived by his stepfather, Freddie Penwell, of Pedro.
Mr. Bailey was a 2004 graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was a self-employed laborer.
In addition to his parents and stepdad, Jonathon is survived by a son, Alex Bailey, of Ironton; two daughters, Jasmine and Navaeh Bailey, both of Ironton; two sisters, Monica (David) Brown, of Columbus, and Peggy (Edward) Bruce, of Pedro; two brothers, Scott (Ruth) Hackworth, of Pedro, and Steve (Danielle) Hackworth, of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Doris Bailey; aunt, Teresa Moore; and maternal grandparents, Leeroy and Madolyn Hackworth.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Jerry Summers officiating.
