The project site is located between County Road 6 (Deering Bald Knob Road) and County Road 61A (Drift Creek Road), two miles east of State Route 141. Currently, traffic is being maintained by flaggers when crews are at work; however, throughout most construction the route will be closed, and motorists will be detoured via County Road 54 (Dog Fork Road), State Route 141 and State Route 378. A date to close the route has yet to be determined.
