June Sanders

Oct. 10, 1942 — June 6, 2018

June Gail Sanders, 75, of Pedro, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born Oct. 10, 1942, the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Sharp Sizemore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Paul Sanders.
June attended Black Fork High School and was a housewife. She attended Forest Ridge Baptist Church. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and mushroom hunting.
She is survived by two sons, Luther “Buttons” Sanders, of Pedro, and Bryan (Robin) Sanders, of Ironton; a daughter, Susan Sanders, of Pedro; granddaughters, Ginger Wilson, Samantha Webb and Morgan (Brandon) Dilley; grandson, Nathan Webb; great-grandson, Javin Burks; great-granddaughter, Alaynah Dilley; sisters, Barb (Steve) McFann, Dot (Keith) Markel, Candy (Don) Hammond, Penny (Carl) Russ and Harlene (Jerry) Rogers; brothers, Jesse (Carolyn) Sizemore and Mark (Beth) Sizemore; and sister-in-law, Brenda Sizemore.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Sizemore and Ricky Lee Sizemore.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Tracy-Brammer Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Ronnie Blagg officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
