Lawrence Holston

June 21, 1951 — June 9, 2018

Lawrence W. Holston, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Trumball Memorial Hospital. Larry was born in Ironton on June 21, 1951, to William and Gertrude (Gildea) Holston.
Larry proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage on Jan. 1, 1972, to the former Johnda Mabery, who survived.
Larry spent his career with J.C. Penney Co., retiring in 2013 as a store manager. He was a member of many organizations, including Lawrence Masonic Lodge 198, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, a life member of VFW Post 1785, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, and was a past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Most importantly, Larry was a loving husband, father and “Pops.”
Besides his wife, Larry is survived by his children, Lewis (Brandy) Holston and Raymond (Katie) Holston; his grandchildren, Hayley, Hannah and Isabella; his brothers, William and Richard Holston; and his sisters, Carol McKnight, Judy (Dan) Wolfer and Phyllis (Leon) Hall.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Curtis Holston.
Visitation for Larry will be 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, where a funeral service with masonic rites will immediately follow at noon. Graveside services with military honors will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.

Vicki Fuller

Jan. 25, 1959 — June 8, 2018

Vicki Lynn Fuller, 59, of Ironton, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at her residence. The Coatesville, Pennsylvania native was born Jan. 25, 1959, to the late William Powers and Geraldine (Barclay) Holland. She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Fuller, whom she married June 25, 1977.
Vicki graduated from Centerville High School and was an RN for more than 20 years. She was a volunteer for AARF, where she helped rescue many animals. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rachael Fuller, of Ironton; a son, Brian Fuller, of Ashland, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Aspen Barlow, Madison Rinkus and Ava Rinkus, all of Ironton; two grandsoms, Deacon Conner and Brogan Fuller, of Ashland, Kentucky; and a great-granddaughter, RaeLynn Puckett, of Ironton.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Eric Barnes officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the Fuller family by visiting www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
