ACTC search for president continues

Three finalists to have forums at Ashland campus

ASHLAND, Ky. – The search for a new president for Ashland Community and Technical College has been narrowed down to three finalists who will visit the campus next month.

President Jay K. Box, president of Kentucky Community and Technical College, announced the three finalists are Barbara Hanson, former chancellor, Louisiana Delta Community College; Dr. Larry Ferguson, KCTCS vice president and acting chancellor, and Dr. Tiffany Evans, provost and chief academic officer; interim chief advancement and resource development officer, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College

The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews Aug. 2 and 3.

During those visits candidates will meet with ACTC faculty, staff, students, board of directors and local leaders.

The public also will have an opportunity to meet the candidates at three forums in the JB Sowards Theater. Hanson will be at a community forum from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 2 and Ferguson will meet the public from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. on the same day. Evans will meet with the public from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 3. All three will meet with students and staff after the community forums.
