PEDRO — The Rock Hill Redwomen outlasted the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers in a five-set volleyball game on Thursday.
Rock Hill won the Ohio Valley Conference game 19-25, 25-23, 27-17, 24-26 and 17-15 in the tiebreaker.
“Ironton has some hitters, but we served pretty well,” said Rock Hill coach Jerry Gregg.
“We’ve been getting close so maybe we’ve cross over the line.
Rock Hill visits Fairland on Tuesday.
Ironton plays at 6 p.m. on Monday at Raceland, Ky.
