Lady Dragons sweep Rock Hill; set up showdown with Gallipolis

PROCTORVILLE — The Fairland Lady Dragons didn’t just set themselves up for points, they also set themselves up for a showdown.
Fairland swept the Rock Hill Redwomen in a straight sets Ohio Valley Conference volleyball game on Tuesday, 25-15, 25-12 and 25-13.
The Lady Dragons are now 8-5 on the season but 6-0 in the OVC and headed to Gallipolis on Thursday in a battle for first place with the defending league champions.
Kelsie Warnock had 11 kills, 10 points including two aces for Fairland while Taylor Webb had six kills with 13 points including four aces.
Madi Wilson recorded 10 points with three aces while Allie Marshall added five kills and five blocks.
Sam Stamper had nine kills for Rock Hill.
The Redwomen hosts River Valley on Wednesday and visit Coal Grove on Thursday in a league game.
