In volleyball games on Wednesday, the South Point Lady Pointers downed the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings in three sets.
The Rock Hill Redwomen fell in a non-league game to the River Valley Lady Raiders in straight sets, 19-25, 19-25 and 20-25.
Sam Stamper had nine kills for Rock Hill.
In an Ohio Valley Conference middle school game, the Fairland Lady Dragons 7th and 8th grade both got wins over the Rock Hill Junior Redwomen.
Fairland’s 7th grade won 25-13, 25-18 to even its record at 3-3 while the 8th grade went to 6-0 in the OVC by winning 25-12, 25-15.
The Fairland 8th grade is now 22-0 over the past two seasons.
