The Oakley C. Collins Memorial Bridge will be closed during the day for four days in October.

The bridge will be closed from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 16-19, so that crews can inspect it.

The bridge will be open in the evenings and overnight.

Traffic will be detoured via U.S. 52 and the 13th Street/Simeon Willis Bridge between Coal Grove and Ashland, Kentucky.

The 12th Street/Ben Williamson Memorial Bridge remains closed. In other traffic reports, Solida Road is closed until Dec. 31 between the U.S. 52 eastbound interchange ramps and Collins Avenue at South Point for an intersection improvement project.

Motorists will be detoured via either Macedonia Road or Grandview Avenue and County Road 1 (Old U.S. 52).  The westbound interchange ramps will remain open to motorists traveling north on Solida Road.

Ohio 522 has been reopened to traffic between Ohio 650 and Wagner Bridge-Empire Road following a bridge replacement.
