Improved Indiana visits surging No. 3 Ohio State

Indiana (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) at
No. 3 Ohio State (5-0, 2-0), 4 p.m. ET (Fox)
Line: Ohio State by 25.
Series record: Ohio State leads 73-12-5.
WHAT’S AT STAKE?
Ohio State must not let this become a trap game. Last season, the Buckeyes were rolling along after an emotional win over Penn State and then were blown out by unranked Iowa the next week. The much-improved Hoosiers haven’t been 5-1 since 2007, something that has only occurred three times in the past quarter-century. An upset of the Buckeyes would be a monumental shocker.
KEY MATCHUP
Ohio State passing game vs. Indiana defense. Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. has multiple touchdown passes in every game this year. In the second half of last week’s game Penn State, he got the ball to his talented receivers on screens and let them do the work. After losing seven of last season’s starters, Indiana ranks in the top half of the Big Ten in five defensive categories.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Indiana: QB Peyton Ramsey. The redshirt freshman and Ohio native has completed 71 percent of his passes. He’s got eight touchdown passes, but has thrown five interceptions and has been sacked seven times. He’s going to have to get the ball out quick to beat Ohio State’s rush.
Ohio State: DE Chase Young. The sophomore picked up the slack when All-American Nick Bosa went down with an injury. Young was terrific against Penn State, making six tackles, including two sacks, and a pair of pass breakups.
