Friday, Saturday final days for 2018 season
For those looking for pumpkins, gourds, flowers and homemade goodies, the Ironton Farmers Market will have its two final days of its sixth season this weekend.
“The market season is slowly coming to an end. Friday and Saturday will be the last weekend of the market for the season,” said Sam Heighton, executive director of Ironton aLive, which is one of the sponsors the Farmers Market.
Heighton said they would have a variety of items as usual, such as sweets, fall produce and baked goods, honey, pumpkins, pork rinds and mums.
“So come join us and let our great vendors thank you for another season of growth,” he said. “We are looking forward to next season and more fun times at the Ironton Farmers Market.”
The market’s hours 7 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Farmers Market Square on Second Street in Ironton. It will reopen next May.
The Ironton Farmers Market is a project of Ironton aLive and sponsored by Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
