GREENUP, KENTUCKY — All Kentucky State Park resort parks will be open on weekends through the winter months in 2018-2019, Parks Commissioner Donnie Holland announced.

Greenbo Lake State Resort will be open Nov. 1-March 30, with check-in on Thursday and check-out on Sunday.

Restaurant schedules will also be based on the resort schedules during the winter.

“We have a winter schedule each year based on our business,” Holland said. “This allows us to serve the most people during our busiest times. We can also make adjustments to the schedule if we have increased demand or requests from large groups.”

There will be no changes for full-time staff within the Parks – all will be working their normal hours during the winter. On days the resort parks are not open to the public, staff will be cleaning and repairing park facilities.
